Microsoft have given the word that Xbox Live for original Xbox titles will not be supported as of April 15th. This is sad news indeed but understandable when the original Xbox Live system is all running alongside the current one. "As we look down the road, we'll continue to evolve the service with features and experiences that harness the full power of Xbox 360," said Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten. "To reach our aspiration, we need to make changes to the service that are incompatible with our original Xbox v1 games."
No doubt one of these things is raising the limited friend cap, which has been continously requested from users for a long time now, but could not be done due to Xbox 1 titles running on Xbox Live being hardcoded to said limit. This can only mean good things are coming to Xbox Live for 360 owners! Lets hope we might hear about some upcoming XBL features at X10 in a couple of weeks time.
